The Samsung LN-T4071F breaks away from the conventional bottom mounted speaker design and places the speakers on the sides of this all-black beauty. The ultra sleek and smooth 40-inch screen rests on a matching pedestal base. A shiny screen adds an extra emphasis to the design, but reflects a lot of room lighting. However, Samsung says the shiny screen helps to improve the quality of on-screen color.
The 120Hz refresh rate makes sure that motion blur is kept to a minimum. That means when the camera is panning slowly across the screen, the images are clear and crisp. It changes the way you perceive video. However, once the images start to pick up with the 120Hz refresh rate, the action starts to look less real and little bit computerized.
